Historic Fish & Game Badges - 08/01/17 11:20 AM

Can you identify the years these Connecticut badges were in use? Or know of anyone who could?
I know someone who owns them and he's interested in understanding how old they were. For example, the Special Protectors program started in 1895 but the badges may have been used for several years before changing the style.
Thanks for any info.

There is a display of old warden stuff near the guard post at DEEP HQ in Hartford (79 Elm St). Some of the memorabilia has narrative attached, he might learn something there.
