Mid July Topwater Smallies

Mid July Topwater Smallies - 07/18/19 10:09 AM

Had to put in the work to get rewarded, but I managed a few quality mid summer smallies last weekend.
Both fish crushed a perch colored whopper plopper 110 in about 8 feet of water under cloudy, wet conditions.

The heartbreaker was the black mamba that threw my spinnerbait right back at me when it jumped about 2 feet in the air. It was an absolute mule.... ugghhh
