Yeah - this was refreshing b/c it wasn't through one of those luvie duvie peace love and happiness websites that spew fantasy happy-crap all day long...this is a guy's boat restoration thread that just happened to be next to a flooded Houston suburb and was able to help.

To me what was especially uplifting was he wasn't alone, by later in the week these people were waiting in line hours to launch/retrieve so they could help others.

Hats off to those guys. I hope I never have to, but especially after reading that I know what I would do. And I'm betting a ton of CTFers would as well. Thanks for sharing. My older son is in Houston, Mom and a sister in Florida. Been a tough couple of weeks. They are all OK, thanks to folks like in that story.
