Extension of Tax Due Date - 03/20/20 03:59 PM

Here's a link to the IRS's notice regarding the extended filing due dates:

CT is another matter that's messier to pick through.

PM me if you've got questions/concerns and your accountant is hiding somewhere wrapped in toilet paper &/or doused in alcohol sanitizer and not answering the phone.

My Ct. accountant said that the state's position is that they will follow the guidelines issued by the IRS. In that regard, Ct. filing and payment date has been moved to July 15, 2020 to coincide with the IRS.
That said, if this can be confirmed by other sources that would be important info.

Anybody want to make a side bet that the state of CT taxes us on whatever we are fortunate enough to get out of Trump's stimulus check?

I would imagine it would be taxable if you’re eligible to receive it, I think unemployment is taxable in the state and federal level I can’t imagine this would be different.

The only thing I’m aware of that isn’t taxable is worker’s compensation
