Anyone service Suzuki OBs near Danbury area? Looking at a boat with a 2008 175hp OB, would like to know if anyone closer than the guys at Beacon Point in Statford could service it in case of any problems.

Not sure if its any closer, but I had work done at Diamond Marine in New Haven. I had an excellent experience there with warranty work.

Late last month I had an oak tree fall on my Florida boat and it smashed the Suzuki 20hp cover and two electronic parts that were on the exterior of the motor.
I called Beacon Point in Shelton and they never called back. I was very interested in Diamond Marine due to the good reports and also found Twin Hull boats in Bridgeport which serviced Suzuki engines. Twin Hull could take my boat right away so I took it there and found them to be very responsive. They evaluated the engine and ordered the parts. The only problem was Suzuki had two parts back ordered and nowhere in the country.
I shopped around at distributors and found one of the parts at Browns Point in NJ but we had to wait on the other. It came in on Thursday and they immediately installed it and I picked the boat up today. I ran it this afternoon and everything works perfectly. The price was way under the insurance coverage and very reasonable to me.
So along with Diamond Marine there is Twin Hull boats in Bridgeport as two Suzuki dealers and service shops with good recommendations.
