Well, went to Crescent Lake (old Plainville Reservoir) last nite and fished from 6 - 8 P.M. Nice parking area and ramp, electric only which is all I have right now anyways. Only drawback is Crescent is open 7 A.M. - 8 P.M., After which gate is locked (advance horn sounds at 7:40 P.M.)Anyhow, got 9 LMB, all in 11 - 13 in range and lost one keeper in the lumber. Lots of great cover and stick ups along shore. Nice place to "practice catching", even if most are obviously stunted. Guess why it's no longer catch and release. Nice lake, quiet, and close to home.
