Finally got the boat in the water this morning. Got into Dooley pond in middletown @ about 6:30. Air temp was 32 degrees and water temp was 46. Was my first time here, and needed to run the motor for a bit before I changed the plugs. Cruzed around for awhile, marked a decent amount of fish in 8-12 feet. Fished to noon with the big

. Tried deep cranking, deep jerk baits, drop shot, power shot, tubes, senkos and everything short of T-N-T. Dont own any jiging spoons but have heard of a few being caught on them.
No worries though. Needed to get the boat in and burn off the fogging oil. Changed the plugs and boat ran great. Just need a few more degrees and we should be in business.
May try to hit zoar for a prefish, may need to look into those spoons...
