I had a pretty good day at a pond at the condoes. I got there at about 3pm and started off with my gold/black Rapala Original Jointed. I had 2 hits on it over by one of those trees that has long, thin branches like a spider's legs. I then switched over to my 7" Texas Rigged purple Berkley Power Worm. I had a few hits with it but they were just sunnies. I also tried my Rebel TadFry, 3" firetiger Rapala Original Floater, and perch Rebel Pop-R with no luck. I then moved down along the edge where I still had no luck. I then decided to go into a few trees behind me where there's a very shallow and weedy pond. I caught a 7" bluegill on my Rapala Jointed. I headed back over to the spot where I had left off at the other pond. Action then started once I got to a certain spot. I caught a 9" and 11" 1 pound largemouth with the Rapala. I also tried my shiner Rapala Shallow Shad Rap and firetiger Rapala Original Floater with no luck. But once I switched over to that 7" Berkley, I started catching them. After casting it out not too far from the shore and to my left and right along the shore in different spots, I ended up with 2 9"ers, 13" 1.5 pounder, fat 15" 2 pounder, and a 10"er. I had many other hits and lost about 5 other bass. 2 hits that I got seemed like a bullhead. So then by the time it was almost 6:30pm, I had to head home for dinner. So I had a pretty good day within 3 hours.
