I fished the Willie also on Saturday with my seven year old and his friend. We caught 0 trout and 2 small dace. I only saw 1 small trout caught all day. We fished until noon and I decided I had enough. The kids didn't get skunked and the bite was off, so I took his friend home. We get there and no one was home. Ok, we go to a different spot and fish some more. Same river, just up stream some, I spotted some fish off a bridge, so I took them to a point just above the fish and put a worm on the bottom, right in front of there nose. The spot was only big enough for one person to cast and with my polarized glasses, I could see exactly where where to put the bait, so I cast for the two boys. In minutes they were on to fish and good size too. The largest about 18"-20"( about 2+ lbs. ) or so, and the smallest about 10". They managed to land 18-20 of them, and had a blast doing it. I also heard a lot of trash talking they did to 4, twenty something guys down stream, who had the fish 10' in front, and couldn't get a bite. Turned out to be a great day on the water. Oops, I forgot to tell you what they caught, White Suckers. Didn't matter, to them they were just huge.
