Loc: Brookfield CT, ON THE LAKE!
Had our Club Tournament on the lake. What a great day of catching! Went out on the Lake boat and was on the water by 6am. We had Alewives and hit a few good spots. We caught around 18 Smallies, biggest just under 3 pounds and around 8 trout, biggest around 4 pounds. Here is a pic of the biggset trout I caught.
.

Went through 6 dozen Alewives! We actually ran out of bait by 8am so I had to dock and get more! Seems like everyone had a great day catching fish. George Buck one the biggest trout with one over 6 pounds, caught on an Alewive.

It was really a great day and we had a bunch of food and drinks. Larry and I hit it hard and caught a ton of fish, just not the big ones we were looking for. We did have fun at the club after and at least Larry and I were the horseshoe champs!

Here is the repectable President and Vice President(Larry and I) with Bob Pennel enjoying a few! Was a great day!

Notice the club is run by young guys. Only a few old guys like me in the club. Average age is around Chris's age (CWood Man) And Danbury Fish & Game has their own club house right across the street from the Danbury town park. Plenty of activities and good times. Plus the club is self-sustaining through club house rentals.
PM CWood Man for details.
