started out the morning on one of my "secret" native brookie streams and absolutly hammered them...from 3 1/2" to 9" with absolutely beautiful color and fight to all of them and ended up with about 2 dozen in 2 hours...then worked on the boat for a few hours and then headed to lake quonipaug in guilford with my dad and gramps and trolled rapalas with limited success...my grandfather caught a nice 12" brownie that was an absolute football and he had about 6 whacks...my father got a 2 rainbows 12" and 10" both footballs again on about 8 hit...and i had one hit with no fish...we were trolling 2" original floaters in perch and gold...

a great day on the water with all three generations of the family for one of the few trips we could actually get together on the water
