I only lasted out at the condo ponds for about 45 minutes. I got out to Big Pond at about 5:45pm. I started off with my small 1.5" shiner Rapala Original Floater after seeing what looked like lots of bluegills going after insects on top. On my 5th cast out, right after it lnaded, I got a hit. But just before I had the time to start reeling it in and set the hook, the bass jumped and spit it. I then gave it another 5 tries with no luck in all directions. I turned my back to the Creek over by the bridge but had no luck there. I then switched over to my 3" crayfish Yo Zuri F Minnow. I had no luck with that. After thinking that there wasn't much around there, I moved down the Creek over to the submerged branches. I casted my Yo Zuri in all directions but had no luck. I then switched over to my blue/silver Rebel Crickhopper Popper. On my first cast out, I lost it. Then, I tried my leopard frog Heddon Tiny Torpedo. I was jerking it with no luck. By the time it started to sprinkle at about 6:15pm, 15 minutes later while using my purple Texas Rigged 7" Berkley Power Worm, I called it quits because of getting no hits while the rain was coming down.
