Well I had to open the shop on Saturday so I didn’t get out until about 10:30. My son and I fished for about three hours with nothing. That was a big surprise, last year we did real good between 10:00 and 2:00 on opening day.

I took him back this evening and we caught two small rainbow, about 10". The strangest thing was I didn’t even know either one was on the line. I started to reel in and check my bait and wow there was a fish on the line. I’ve had bass and catfish do that but never a trout.
