I fished the moosup river on 5/14 at the route twelve bridge in central village. I was only fishing for about forty five minutes before i had to go to work. Caught two trout using a black beadhead wooly bugger. One was a rainbow that had a piece of line hanging out of it's mouth that looked like it was attached to a bluefish hook and the other was a beautiful brookie about 6" long that looked like a native or one that has been in the river since it was a fingerling. The real good part to this post is that when i was getting out of my waders a guy stopped by and told me to try again on 5/15 because they were stocking the whole river.

They stocked Moosup Pond on 5/15 also. Caught 5 rainbows in about 10 minutes right off the beach with Thomas' spoons.
