Launched just north of the Dam at 5:30. Fished the flat across from the sand spit with senko's, jigs, and sb. Picked up one dink sm on the sb. Went across to the flooded trees (rivers still about 2 feet higher than normal). Flipped the trees for 200 yards. Not a nibble. Went behind the sand spit right before dark. First cast with sb had a bump. Worked down stream for 100 yards with the sb and picked up a mix of sm and lm, up to 2 lbs. Turned around and picked up 4 more on sb. Turned around again (it was dark now), tied on a black bussbait, and picked up the two biggest fish, a 2.5 sm and a 3.0 lm, before calling it a night. The fish are definately keeping out of the high, strong, and muddy water.

Barn.
