It was one more stellar day at the local fishing hole. We hit fish consistantly, catching numbers and respectable size. The biggest bass, and the first, was a 5 lb. largemouth on a #7 Rapala right off the bat. I don't usually throw this, but there were bait fish breaking and some swirls so I had to go to something other than plastic. We caught a number of 2-3 lb. bass on a variety of baits, mostly Senkos, but spinner baits caught a handful of fish (including a 25 inch walleye), and a few on brushhogs and Power Pulse worms. Hurray for my buddy's 13 year old son, Sam Uberti, who caught several nice bass on the Senko. It's great to see another fish addict in the making.
