Went to pattaganset lake today in east lyme...fished for a few hours no fish though,,water was 40. A resident of the lake said he was ice fishing last sunday and that the lakse was ice out thursday morning...however there was still some ice along the banks. It was fun to get out and work some kinks out, just thought some of you would like to know.

No closed season, not a trout lake. Powers lake and rogers are also open, rogers is closed at midnite on march 31 until opening day. Powers is shallow so it may heat up quicker,im headin down there tuesday and will post a report.
