I had another good day out on Whitney Farms Golf Course again today. I started off with my Rebel Teeny Wee Crayfish at one of the Twin Small Ponds. Nothing there. I then tried the Crayfish, TadFry, and Rapala Original and Jointed at the southern tip of the Creek. I had a few hits on my Crayfish but didn't catch anything. I then decided to move over to the Big Pond over by the driving range and 17th hole. That's when everything started. I started by casting the Teeny Wee Crayfish over by a few lilly pads and branches in the NW corner inlet of that pond where there's also a brook that begins. I caught a 14" 2pound largemouth and 4 bluegills(8" 10oz, 7" 8oz, 6", 6"). I have a picture of the 8" 10oz bluegill. I then headed around the pond and over to the western edge where there's lots of lillies and where I caught the sucker. I had one on the Crayfish but lost it and caught another 2pounder and 8" 10oz bluegill on it. After that pond, I headed back down to the southern tip of the Creek. I didn't catch anything there on the Crayfish and TadFry. I then headed up to the northern half of the Creek where I was rockin last time. I caught a 6" bluegill there on the Crayfish. I then walked across the 2nd hole to the pipes at the Large Pond. Nothing. After catching a 7" 8oz bluegill on the Crayfish at the NW corner inlet of the pond and a 6" along the points on the west side, it was time to head home. So on my way home, I tried the northern parts of the Creek again with nothing. But then I ended up loosing a largemouth and catching an 8" 10oz bluegill at the southern tip of the Creek on the Rebel Teeny Wee Crayfish. So that was my day and I had another good one. The waters must be warming up and the fish are getting active. \:\)
