Today at the Saugatuck Res. around 11am I landed this 4lb 13oz Brown after a nerve racking/ long fight. All I had was a tiny trout net and he barely fit into it. I was so nervous that i was going to lose him that I jumped in up to my waist to get him into the net. That water is cold as hell! I had to head right home and get changed after that.
I got him on an orange and silver hammered Krocodile attached to 4lb flourocarbon.
He was 21.5" long and had a girth of 14", a very fat solid fish, This fall I got a lake trout the same length and it weighed a 2 full pounds less!

Are you allowed to fish on the 31st or is that the day the Res. closes?

I definetly want to get one more day in, i'll call in sick if need be!
