Havent had anything to report or brag on in weeks.high 80,s /90s last 2 weeks.not worth the time ,gas,headache trying to get the wench out of bed early for a 1/2 day.well we got a cool front out the door we went.freezer fillets getting thin.went to our new small lake shellcracker spot.1st damn thing in the morning,prime time.i catch a white amur grass carp on a little red wiggler worm...15/ 20 minutes later i see the stupid thing aint a catfish...i,m not thrilled. Fortunately while i,m wrestling this pig lynnes filling the cooler....and dont get me going on the 3 snapping turtles and a big soft shell i wasted an hour on...
.measured at 31".guess weight at 14 lbs....on 4lb. Stren...well there you go Trilene...beat that

Also ultimate test of a new reel.bass pro micro elite.35.00 $ haha...drag was perfect.been using pfueger ul reels for years.no issues in rivers.fishing more lakes and slip floats and line twist has become a issue.cracked open the wallet bought the new reel...no line twist and 1st fish i catch would smoke a cheapo...my thumbs up if your in the market for a new ul reel but dont want to kill your budget. thumbsup

buffalo are omnivorious like us they get up to 50lbs people fish for those huge ones in lower michigan select club

We,ve caught some big buffalo and drum below the cordell hull dam.one heck of a fight,especially if theyre running generators.brutal current.
