I made a Tourtiere, (French Canadian Meat Pie), with ground venison, pork and potatoes. It is a savory dish spiced with clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and poultry seasonings that is traditionally served on Christmas Eve, usually after midnight mass. My Mom and Grandmother always served it and I’m just carrying on the tradition.

"Politically correct" was initially coined by Leon Trotsky to refer favorably to those whose views remained in sync with the ever-shifting Bolshevik Party line. This was important, as "not PC" people risked prison or death.

Meat pies are the best. My Grandmother made a Swedish Pasty Pie which we loved as kids when visiting her. The recipe was lost though when she passed on. I have never been able to duplicate it. Jon, your pie looks great, great creation.
