I made my favorite venison meal tonight, braised venison shanks with Yukon Gold mashed and steamed asparagus.
Don’t grind em, braise and praise the lowly shank this year!
You can thank me later!

Shanks are great for Osso Buco too which come out looking like your braised dish which also looks delicious.
