These would make perfect cutting table tops for processing deer down in your basement. I have something similar that is made out of butcher block wood that is 12' long, 2 1/2' wide with a 3" back-splash. It sits on stainless tables at each end that also has drawers. I use it for other things too, like processing garden products, etc. It is mounted against a wall. Underneath it is a log organizer for fireplace wood that stays nice and dry.
