I remember when the state used to stock goldens ~50 years ago.
We'd hike up to the cliffs overlooking Cedar Lake and look down,
And you could see the school of goldens down in the lake just circling around.
They shown like a neon light on a wet and dreary night.

Fished the river this am.(Sunday 5/31)

Full moon low tide 530am.
Storm and high winds day before.
Water was dirty and low.
Cold out think it was in the 40's at the launch.

Took an hr or so to find the bass. They were in about 13ft. Got into a few, one slot, others were smaller. Nice clear incoming tide Water on my way out at 9am. #*&! to do around the homestead today.
