My 13 year old son has started a "business". He is selling/delivering ice this summer in Westbrook. He can supply up to 300lbs if any one needs ice for an offshore trip. He gets $6 for a 20lb bag delivered on his bike cart. Right now he's kinda centered around Pilots Point. If anyone needs ice for a trip give him a shout. I might be able to help him deliver a large order to Saybrook/Clinton with some advance notice.

Relativity, sounds good. I have been hitting the midshore spots, but it seems the tuna have largely moved on. A few are being taken north of the lanes, and some at the coimbatore, but it's like the old days. Whackamoles and spread way out.

A couple of weeks ago it was lights out.

Oh well. Maybe the yft will move inshore at some point.

My boat is in point judith. been mostly mid-shore and inshore fishing recently but getting the boat canyon ready.

The bite in the local canyons is really hot right now, and it hurts to be working on a punch list instead of a crew list but the end is in site.

Will probably hunt schoolies come monday. have good intel so hopefully it pans out.

We were in Nosara last June. There are secret FAD's right off the coast. We crushed the big yellows,150# class. We got them all on live skippies dropped down with cannonball downriggers. Lot of Blue Marlin caught around us as well. My buddy just got back. Got a 300# blue marlin on a 15 wt fly rod. I never fished Jaco, but my former neighbor moved to CR and developed 90 acres on a hillside overlooking Jaco and making a health retreat property…..not only building the buildings but clearing land, building the mountainside access roads, running utilities, etc….

I fished Zancudo Lodge which was an amazing 5-star operation from boats to fishing to food to rooms to resort care of its clients.

Caught my PB YFT 142#s …..saw them coming boat side with the dolphin/porpoise and I grabbed a live bait out of the live well, ran a hook thru its nose, threw it over the side against the boat and the YFT CRUSHED it!!!! & Mahi about 40+#s….co-fisher had a YFT on and I winged a billed lure out their and the Mahi Clobbered it!!!

AWESOME trip but the 10 of us paid for it…..like $50,000 for 4 days
