Thanks Tommy. You reminded me I wanted to change the hot foot also when I go through the plug connections.

I fished a Tuesday club tournament years ago on Amos. The cable that kept the troller head firm and synced to the pedal loosened up. The head had a mind of its own and wandered like a drunk. I had to kneel and hand direct the head left hand and push the button on foot pedal with my right for 6 hours. Almost everyone asked if I needed to be towed back to the launch. Good thing Amos is only 99 acres and it wasn't windy. I tore it down replaced some parts and re soldered all the connections. I have 2 backups now that are used. I bought them off CTF. One is a 36. I made room in the battery well and may rig that one up after this Tuesday. Most of the areas I fish on the lakes we go to I never use the big motor except start up and final run in.
