We’ve got a lot of healthy deer south of Hartford but that’s because starting in about 2010 a combination of more DEEP logging activity on state land and winter wind storms that took down a lot of big trees helped to open up the canopy and create more edge habitat

Up where my brother lives in Granby they have just completed a few timber harvests on state land so from my perspective I see light at the end of the habitat tunnel.

I hate to say it but liberals with their preserve the virgin forest and Smokey the bear with his let all the deadwood accumulate mentality have really hurt the true Conservation approach pioneered by Teddy Roosevelt

Thanks to the Roosevelt era men, we have the public land

We just need to get back to managing it properly

I find it fairly easy. First download your picture to your computer.Then on the full reply screen click on the fifth from the left brown icon at the top of the screen.A window will open and it asks you to choose a file. When you click it, it brings you to your computer files. You click on your photo file, and open it which brings you back to the choose file window, and the picture url will show up to the right of the choose file box. Then click add file and either choose another photo file, or click the done adding file box. that's it your finished.
Some phones take pictures using heic and have to be converted to jpeg. I got around that by cropping my photos which automatically converted them to jpeg.
