My rig for Eastmans is 50lb braid to 50lb mono . I like 25 or so feet of mono but what sucks is the first big tangle you can lose the whole thing . Then I go braid right to my rig . It’s a shame because if they liberalized the abundant sea bass limit that would solve a lot of the problems by giving guys a good reason to catch and release other fisheries.

They said years ago a saltwater license would give recreational fishermen a voice at the table……it’s been years now and I really don’t see it.

I cannot imagine trying to run a party boat or charter boat in this environment.
