Looks to be an archaic spear point made of a local quartz as mentioned above. Fuzzy on dates, but that on is most likely well over 2000 yrs old. notched base for fastening to the Atlatal(sp?) shaft. Nice find, there may be more near by keep looking. I didn’t want to pry and ask….I mean, I did want to….but I didn’t ask. How cool is owning your own vast jungle???!!!! Costa Rica is non-hunting, but fully fishable. She’s afraid that Black Jaguar won’t let her raise chickens like she has wanted to. One of her 3 goats (Cannoli [cream colored]) jumped up on the hood of my Wrangler about 2 weeks ago!!!! I still need to get the hood buffed out from its hooves. I got to it just before it was about to leap up onto my Wrangler’s roof!
