Wed off of Old Saybrook the Stripers pushed the peanut bunker into the eel grass in 10” of water at the edge of the beach. Then the Stripers went the the eel grass in 10” of water. So cool

if it was the 27th, then I wasn't there that day, I was there on saturday that weekend. that sunday AM i had intentions of going back to the flea market, but the 3 hr blitz of big ole bass at the canal told me to skip work that day wink2

Somewhere between Semisoft and Medium

Levels of Core:

Soft Core - Bait and 8 with a Walmart combo on the beach in a beach chair with a cooler filled with bud light

Semi Soft Core - Toes to knees, in warm weather only tossing plastic plugs and metals

Medium Core - Up to the waist, tossing wooden plugs, eels and bucktails. Factory rod and Non VS/ZB reel

Firm Core - Waders, creepers, fancy plug bag, factory rod with higher end reel (not VS/ZB though), tossing all "designer" plugs with signatures on them.

Hard core - Wetsuit, high end plug bag, custom rod, ZB/VS, no plugs under $25, uses strictly JoeBaggs Bucktails or SPJ's

DumAzz Core - Wetsuiting off the Cape or Block when Great whites are around Or Drifting eels off Montauk in a wetsuit.
