Oharas wouldnt make any money if he went private. He makes his money renting boats and launch fees. Ive rented slips there for june and its not a bad deal. Its his property and he has too pay high taxes. The reason he is raising rates is because he knows the state is broke and doesnt have the money to build a public launch. Malloy raised his taxes so he in return raised his fees. I would suggest some people to pitch in volunteer and buy a few trucks of gravel to get the state launch usable. Its easier to do something yourselves than wait for someone else do it.remember the time we put our funds and stocked the farmington with 100 trophy trout.
