On a more serious note... I had a similar problem with my Minn Kota 55lb tiller steer. Go on their website or call their help line and they will provide the diagram and the step by step instructions for replacing the pin. It's not intuitive. You should get the factory replacement pin from them as it is designed to break before serious damage is done to the motor when you hit something. I am not mechanically inclined and it took me under half an hour.
