Most photos I have seen of these seeforellen have shown a clipped adipose, but CTDEEP put up a photo on Facebook today showing one with a full adipose fin, so that's not full proof.

Bet some will be hooked through the ice, but I would think it difficult to fit a 20lb trout through an 8" hole.
