A witness tracked me down on facebook and added these details: "Was a pretty new contender, approximately 30ft or so with a middle aged male and female on board. After they struck you, they moved south of you and started drifting east for about a 1/4 mile, then they turned off their navigation lights and that was the last I saw of them" "Definitely a newer contender, if I had to guess no more than 4yrs old.he went up and kinda over your stern"

There has been a lot of chatter about this in montauk so I figured it wouldn't take long to find the guy! Since moving to Long Island I have learned it's a pretty small island amongst boaters.
