FYI - DEEP stocked 540 broodstock Seeforellen-strain Brown Trout from the Kensington State Fish Hatchery during the first week of 2016. These fish weigh from 1 to 6 pounds, averaging approximately 3.5 pounds each.

255 broodstock Seeforellen-strain Brown trout were stocked into Highland Lake on Thursday, 1/7 and 285 broodstock Seeforellen-strain Brown trout into Crystal Lake on Friday, 1/8.

The state stocked a lot of trout and salmon this fall. Ice fishing season should see some great catches.
