I stopped and the little farm pond and caught about a dozen little fun sizers and soaked up the fall foliage. Leaf peeping and hook sweeping works for me!
Today I only thew a swim bait on an 1/4 oz head and they were all about it with a slow and steady retrieve above bottom.
A few smashed it as the bait got close to shore in a hurry up and get it now attack.

I fished in the face of the wind most of the trip and they were in the mood to feed.

My itch has been scratched!

Good job scratching the "itch".
1 pole, 1 bait it just doesn't get much better.
