Probably Texas. I have a friend I grew up with in Jersey who lives in Texas outside of San Antonio and he hunts hogs at night with thermal scopes. He also hunts Axis, Fallow and Sika deer all year round because they are an invasive species. He said Axis deer are the best eating of all of the deer species including moose and elk.
Thinking about this some more I doubt it is legal to even shoot a free roaming hog in Ct. They are probably defined as escaped farm animals and to protect farmers you can't shoot them. By the time the state comes up with a plan there will be so many of them it won't be possible to get rid of them. Pa. has this problem in a few areas.
