It is such a wonderful feeling to know how much Pete and his family are cared about outside of our family circle. I am his sister living in Illinois- I have two boys the same ages as Ben and Alex- we were just here two weeks ago visiting and had a nice visit with the whole family.
Your postings are overwhelming. Thanks for all your prayers. I love the squirrel story!! Pete was a good story teller! I have a great picture of us when we were kids and will post it if I can get it scanned- it is a hoot- Pete in drag!
Many people have been inquiring about ways to contribute financially. One of Pam and Pete's major goals was to help secure the boys financially in terms of college. Pam and Pete have a CHET set up for Ben and Alex. The family has spoke with a representative from CHET this morning and they ran through the steps to make a contribution.
Make all checks payable to CHET. On the memo field of the check list the boys account numbers. Send the check directly to CHET at:

If you would like to contribute to Ben's account use: 725288-1955 If you would like to contribute to Alex's account use: 730181-1955
*If you would like to contribute to both boys then you will need to send two checks. (The rep at CHET said this helps reduce confusion).
If anyone feels uncomfortable sending the checks directly to CHET, Pam has stated that they can be mailed to her home, but she does prefer the direct method. (Just one less thing for her to have to deal with). I will be turning any checks I may receive for flowers over to the boys' chet acct as well. Don't worry a CTfisherman arrangement will still be delivered.

I have recently been told that these CHET accts have a minimum contribution set at $25.
In addition Pam does not get notified of who contributes, so if you decide to help out Pete's boys, feel free to drop Pam a note with your intentions...
