Just in case anyone hasnt heard the state reduced the license price was just reduced to $28.00....

There are NO PLANS to refund residents that have already been bent over and violated with a previous purchase!!!

I guess we won....FOR THE MOMENT!!!!

That's ok on the no refund or credit deal. Some of us will note it as the "donation" it was when filing our state income tax returns next year. With interest (compounded) of course grin.

Oh and thanks to the online licensing system i have multiple receipts.

So, in laymans terms, does this mean that the freshwater license is now $28 as of today, or does it need to pass further?

The fee is currently at $28.00

Paid for one tonight at Cabelas for a friend...

Everyone thought it would be a few a few days but it changed tonight!!

Eric D, The Salt water license was the one right after the resident fishing license and it remains at 10.00, Below is what i copied and pasted from the list of the fees.


(3) resident marine waters fishing license, ten dollars

it is still on the DEP website listed as $40. One question, does this mean the non-resident prices will go down as well?

Non Resident inland from 80 to 55. Non resident marine from 60 to 15, its about time people woke up..Congtrats to everyone involved that made this happen, this sets the stage for the other states in the future applause
