According TO the law, you are "bound to KNOW the law". How you go about doing it is your obligation, NOT them that MAKES the law.

In the eyes OF the law, they provide the information ABOUT the law as a courtousy, not a legal obligation.

I can just imagine me standing if front of Judgey-Wudgey with a cooler full of 3 & 5/16th" lobsters (legally deemed shortys as of Jan-1-2010) and the only feeble excuse I got to weezle outt'a a $1,467.89 fine is that: "My mail box got run over and my computer is broken" BOOAhhaahaa!!
