Officer Raul Ramos of Southington was recently promoted to the rank of Conservation Enforcement Sergeant. Sergeant Ramos has been with the Department for five years. He was previously an officer with the West Hartford Police Department for four years where he was a member of their Special Weapons and Tactical Team.

Sergeant Ramos is an avid hunter and fisherman and has worked in the Marine and Western Districts. He will be responsible for the supervision of the Candlewood Lake Authority Patrol and the Division's Boating Accident Reconstruction Unit.
