swwind - Unfortunately, fish and game violations have traditionally been given low priority by CT's criminal justice system, especially the judiciary (probably because the vast majority of them do not engage in any outdoor activities, especially not hunting or fishing). All we can do is urge our legislators to put pressure on the prosecutors and judges to take these offenses seriously (good luck with that one!) Skip - kudos to you and all your CO's for doing such a great job despite the frustrating dispositions. Maybe your Commissioner should be the one urging more prosecutions. The prosecutors have annual training in June, maybe DEP could put together an hour long presentation to make the newer prosecutors appreciate how much work and how much inherent danger is involved in a typical DEP arest.
