As reciprocity is no longer an issue, due to the elimination of NY licences, CAN I FISH NY WATERS, AND RETURN TO CT WITHOUT VIOLATING THE LAW? All of this assumes of course that the good folks from CT have paid for a Salt Water license which satisfies all of the federal requirements, now all we're asking, is it any good and what does it cover? Is that too much to ask from a state or state employee that seems to be more interested in your fee than explaining it to you?
This lack of clarity is the EXACT reason I purchased my NY Non-Resident Marine license. Even though they have posted the suspension of the license (clearly for residents), I can still access and purchase a non-resident marine via D.E.C.A.L.S. (I just checked)
