My buddy had his replaced only to have it break again... I went with the surf and jetty as I prefer more of a moderate-fast action. Absolutely love that rod and would not hestitate to buy another if the need arose. Supersurfs are nice but more $$$.

From what I have heard, Lammis service is top notch. Maybee you should ask if they would be willing to replace with a different model.
