Interestingly, the first non-resident to launch at the town boat launch who gets arrested or gets a ticket could have a big payday. Simply get Mr. Leydon, who is a Ct. lawyer based out of Greenwich, to take the case, plead not guilty under the Constitution's 1st Amendment Right to Assemble, cite Leydon v. Town of Greenwich and the Ct. Supreme Court ruling and win your case. Then Leydon, on your behalf, sues the town for violating your civil rights and maybe the state for not doing enough to protect your Constitutional rights. The Town of Morris will fold like a chicken hit by an 18 wheeler and have their insurance company pay you for your pain and suffering. Probably no contest for $50 grand or less. The state probably self insures since it has taxing authority and could be had for a $100 grand without a contest. Takes a big sack though and it would involve a fair amount of time which most don't have. In any case, if Beverly's is full and you want to fish Bantam Lake launching at the town launch is very tempting.
