We actually do seafood dealer inspections year round. We're looking at more than shellfish and lobsters. Officers are also looking for any illegal finfish.

Penalties usually start at about a $75 fine - per count. So if someone has 10 illegal lobsters/fish, etc., it would be a $750 fine.
