EnCon, just one more thing which may or may not be relavent. There are no signs on this piece of property stating it is No Trespassing, No Hunting or Fishing etc. The property is definate state of CT.
Doesn't matter. We do things different in CT than other states like Vermont. Up there if the property is not posted you can hunt it. Down here you need permission of the property owner to hunt, it's not a requirement that the property be posted (or not), you need permission. If it's DOT property technically you would need permission from the Commissioner of DOT to hunt on it.
No I understand what you are saying. The strange part was/is the DEEP was stocking pheasant on it, so therefore it was open at one time. There are no posted signs on it now or before.
