Appreciate the insite. Personally, I have a quad cab truck. Typically I have my shotgun in a soft case with my vest and ammo laying on the floor in the back. I always thought that was legal as long as it was not loaded since I had a hunting license.

How does having a concealed weapon permit play in to this? I mean my hand gun can be loaded in the vehicle?
