On January 10th, EnCon Police Officer Chickos responded to a report of a possible coyote attack in Monroe. After investigating, Officer Chickos noted that the attacking animal was a domestic dog, not a coyote. Monroe Police became involved at that point as it was determined that the complainant was bitten by the dog while allegedly attempting to burglarize the property that the dog was protecting. Monroe Police ultimately obtained an arrest warrant for the “victim” of the dog bite.
