From CT DEEP site "In 2005, Connecticut instituted its first modern day regulated trapping season for fishers.", which means they are no longer a protected species. However, at the moment, state regulations restrict the legal trapping of fishers to November, and a licensed trapper can take only two per season. I would suggest taking whatever means necessary short of physical harm to put the fear of man into it so it will relocate. There is no shortage of food or range in CT for fishers, maybe a garden hose hit or two will suffice. Other than that I would consult the CT DEEP for their suggestions on what means are legal to deal with the issue.
